For the Disabled

There is ramped access to a door at the side of the church. There is also a "disabled toilet" which includes baby-changing facilities.

If you are approaching on the A595 from the north, ignore the Whitehaven signs and bypass the town to the east on the road signed to Barrow.

You are now on the "green" road travelling downwards. Pass through duel sets of traffic lights and at the roundabout (signed for the hospital) keep straight on but take the second turning to the right  (the “yellow” road marked with a "steep hill" sign). In just under a mile at the “T” junction turn right to Whitehaven along the "orange road".

As you begin to descend a long hill, beside a retaining wall, take the next turning to the left (Woodhouse Road). As you climb the hill you will see the church (marked with an arrow)  on your left.

If you are travelling on the A595 from the south, take the "yellow" road to your left (referred to above) and follow the directions given.

If you are travelling from St Bees, keep on the B5345 (the "orange" road) as you enter from the bottom of the map Take the  turning into Woodhouse Road as above.
